What is Movement?

Here at TMC KIDS we believe in an holistic approach to moving, which means we are not limited to one form of movement. In each lesson we incorporate many different styles of physical activity such as gymnastics, dance, martial arts, parkour and the important fundamental movement skills plus loads of games which keeps it interesting and fun for the kids.

We have a strong focus on balance, coordination, strength and flexibility to ensure the skills learnt will be easily transferred into any sport or activities your child might play.

What do the Dance classes involve?

Our Dance classes are taught by a professional dancer! This class is perfect for those kids that love music and dance but don’t want the pressure of exams and concerts. Kids will learn different styles of dance from ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and acrobatics! and learn a new routine every couple of weeks! Our focus is on correct technique but most of all to have FUN!

2. Do you need experience or prior training?

No, here at TMC KIDS we believe it’s every child’s right to feel that they belong. All skills can be scaled to suit every child’s ability. We set personal goals for each child throughout the year so everyone has something to work towards.

3. How do I sign up for a trial?

All lessons must be pre-booked beforehand as we have limited numbers per class. This is to ensure we can deliver the highest quality program to our students. Trial $15 per person

4. How do I enrol my child?

To sign up please call 0478077790 or email kids@themovementcollective.net

You will need to fill in registration form and select which class day and time you’d like to attend.

How does payment work?

Once you have paid your yearly registration fee upon joining $70 for 1 Child and $30 for every sibling after, a weekly direct debit will be set up for your classes. This includes limited classes during the holidays as we run all year round and not by terms. All public holidays are cancelled and if your class is scheduled on one you will not be charged.

What happens if we miss a lesson?

If you miss a lesson you will still be charged as direct debits are automatic. However, You are able to do a make up lesson within 3 weeks of your missed lesson unless your child has a longer term illness. To schedule your makeup lesson please email kids@themovementcollective.net. Makeup lesson’s are subject to availability.

Do you offer refunds?

No, there are no refunds offered for missed lessons.

5. What are the benefits of being a member?

Only members are allowed to secure a place in our classes. As we have very limited numbers it is essentially that you are booked into your best suited day and time slot. Our classes do fully book throughout the terms. Once they are booked there is no room for drop ins.

Our members also receive access to our free event throughout the year such as discos and discounts to special workshops.

6. Does it matter when we sign up?

As we run classes all year round with selected days in the holidays you are able to enrol anytime throughout the year.

Can I buy an extra T-shirt?

Yes, to order your TMC shirt please place an order by emailing kids@themovementcollective.net. Please state child’s name and size. T-shirts are $30 and usually arrives within two weeks.
