TMC NEWCASTLE

The Movement Collective was created from the dream of rod cooper, a Newcastle local who has spent the last few years developing his practice and knowledge of movement. learning under some of the best movers and teachers in the world. He will be forever grateful for His biggest inspiration Ido portal and his team. 

TMC really wants to give the people of Newcastle a facility to practice and learn more about thier body and what they are capable of,create new habits and develop the movement approach. its not just the fancy tricks you see on social media, our practice is a lot deeper than this. You will learn mobility,flexibility, balance,ground flow ,grace,strength, fluidity. with  longevity and moving pain free our main goal. we practice all of these with a massive focus on play and never taking ourselves too seriously. 

Our movement approach is inspired by GYMNASTICS, DANCE, MARTIAL ARTS, STRENGTH, CONDITIONING & CALISTHENICS. Predominately using body weight movements.

I have been training with Rod Cooper at The Movement Collective since he opened over 18 months ago. Since training with Rod I have seen improvements in my overall health and fitness including but limited to strength, flexibility, agility, co-ordination and overall health and well being. I feel excited about training, not only am i achieving goals and constantly progressing but i am really enjoying my training. I would highly recommend training with Rod at TMC either one on one or in class environment, his methods and approach to training are really well researched and i have really enjoyed training with him.
